HW#63

The Last Apprentice 2 hours read pgs 125 - 305

Tom and the Spook were to late and the Bane was released. It needed blood to get stronger. If it got stronger then it would forcefully take over peoples minds and make them set it free. Unpredictably Tom's companion Alice was the one who set him free. She let it drink her blood which made it stronger. But she also set it free in return of a gift. She wanted the Bane to protect Tom and her forever and it agreed. It fled across the city plagiarizing towns and ruthlessly killing people just for the sake of it's well being. The spook hated Alice and has always looked for a chance to get her out of the house this was a perfect reason. However this time he was going to put her in a pit. They had a long and ongoing argument but the Spook got Tom quiet by using the line " after all she is a witch."
If I were the spook I would kill Alice. She unknowingly let one of the world's greatest demons and set him on a killing spree. This was practically the twentieth time she disobeyed the Spook's rules and enough is enough. She has benn let off the hook more than could be given. Also this was the second time she let a witch or demon free. First it was Old Mother Malkin and second it was the Bane. The spook has enough evidence to kick Alice out of the house and kill her. The only thing stopping him was that he wasn't so heartless , he hated killing things or witches. He clearly stated that by morning the pit was going to be ready and she was goinbg in. If Tom can't do anything to stop him or run away with her dissapointing everyone then he will have to say goodbye to alic.

the last apprentice curse of the bane minutes read 30 pages read 87-125

Tom ward has found his mom's secret chest. Inside he found all of her divine jewelry and precious possesions. But in that chest he found the key to the basement where his mom never let anyone see. When he opened it he found two feral lamias. He was happy and scared at the same time. He knew that any witch with the least bit of sense would be afraid of a lamia but he was also afraid that they might devour him. Inside the basement he it also revealed anote saying that the lamias would not hurt him that they were his mom's sisters. She also explained that she was a benign witch but used not her powers but for the most good.
If I were tom i would definetely be building an army. I would convince the spook to seek the help of the fellow spook's in chipenden. Once he has two forty eight foot lamias onhis side then the battle is most likely won. But also the pendle witches clan is way past powerful. They are trying to get the maximum amount of witches known to join together to create a final ammendment. If all the different clans join then they can make the fiend or the devil arrive on earth.

HW.#57

I believe that high school will be different than middle school.I think so because the work will be way more advanced and the subjects will be very different.Instead of normal algebra and fractions we will have to do more complex work. The subjects will be different because normal high schoolers just have up to three or four subjects a day.
I do believe that middle school will prepare us for high school because over here at the Frederick Douglass Academy it is said that in eight grade you will learn ninth grade work. Also the discipline and training that you learn now will pay off later on.
Something that i want to know about high school is how hard it is. In high school they prepare you for college and it will be tough. Also you will have to take A.P classes if you're smart. Another thing that I want to learn about high school is if middle school's knowledge actually pays off.

The Sea Of Monsters By;Rick Riordian pages read 1-17 minutes read 30.

Persy jackson once again states that he is the son of all mighty Posiedon. He finally meeets his friend annabeth (daughter of Athena) but in the strangest possible way.Almost 4 huge giants attacked the school and she saved them from the last one.Supprisingly the first three were killed by his homeless friend tyson who turned out to be a cyclops. He dreams about going back to camp half blood but has to postpone it because of the many warnings about how dangerous it's getting. His mom really loves him and knows he is the son of great Posiedon but will not let him go.
If i were Percy at this point i would run away. After witnessing 4 humongous giants atack the school in public it means the dark is getting stronger.i would desperatley want to get to camp half-blood to seek help.I would be Posiedons son and ask him for help while Percy didn't. If the situation was this bad i would search forr the help of the 12 gods and godesses. They would at least give us some divine powers.

The History Of African Enslavement

In 1626 the first Africans were enslaved and and brought to America. From 1626 to the early or late 1700's the demand for slaves were high and rising.People had to meet thier needs so they started to bring in HUGE boats full of enslaved Africans

.New Amsterdam was now almost 40% Africans. The americans took enslaved people especially from africa because they knew of thier special skills. At first they were going to take the native americans but more than half of them died out just on the trip.Africans were known to take massive weather and pain. While enslaved one of the most famous jobs that they ever did was making the huge wall .That was the exact location of where wall street is today.Because of that wall we now call that street Wall street.

While enslaved the africans had a little freedom. The americans had no use of the marsh land beyond the border of New Amsterdam. They let the africans bury thier dead relatives over there. After death the afrricans would cross the dead person's arm over his chest in belief of a safe travel to heaven. Also they would put pennies over the pesons eyes to keep them closed, but as they desease it is said to be bad luck.

The africans had been through alot more hardships than just what i have said but to tell all of the hardships that they have been through it would mean that this essay would go on forever so i shall stop now.For now you have been given a little bit of knowledge of the enslavement of africans.
